This seller policy shall guide all vendors on demerch.com to ensure that your selling here leaves all with a happy ending.

Demerch.com is a multi-vendor eCommerce platform for you to showcase and sell your products to the general public.

This Seller Policy apply in full force and effect to your use of this website for the purpose of selling your items; and by using this website, you expressly accept all part of this Seller Policy herein in full. You must not use this Website, if you have any objection to any of this Seller Policy.

It is our expectation that you contribute to making both selling and buying a happy moment on this platform.

 

What can be sold on demerch.com

For the lists of acceptable items, you can sell on demerch.com, please visit this link: https://demerch.com/categories. You may contact us if you find any to ambiguous or unintelligible.

You may contact us if you intend selling any item not listed here (https://demerch.com/categories) but legally permissible to be sold in the Republic of Ghana.

None of items for sale or related images and text must contain pornographic or gory content.

 

What cannot be sold

Our prohibited items are based on the laws of the Republic of Ghana, customer feedback and our discretion.

We prohibited the sale of any medication for the cure of any of the diseases for which the Public Health Act, 2012 Act 851 bans its advertisement. Specifically mentioned are:

Cure for Sexually Transmitted Diseases, other forms of Genito-Urinary diseases. Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) or diseases connected with the human reproductive functions

 

We prohibit the sale of any kind of arms or ammunition in any form- authentic, replica, a toy or prototype.

 

Quality of Information

You must provide accurate information regarding your business and/or yourself. Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) section 26 obligates us to process data that is complete, accurate, up to date and not misleading.

Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) section 33 (1) gives you the right to correct your personal data. Should you change your business name, personal name or business address, you are obliged to immediately make the necessary amendment on demerch.com to keep us and your customers from misleading data.

 

Purpose of Customer Information

The purpose for which a customer’s personal data will be forwarded to you shall be for the sole purpose of processing and delivering customer orders or returns. Any further processing of such customer data received from demerch.com shall be deemed unlawful as it contradicts Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) section 25, which restricts further processing of personal data to be compatible with the original purpose for collection of such data.

 

Respect Buyers’ right to return and refund

Buyers have the right to return and entitled to refund any of your items that are damaged, shortlanded or defective before delivery. Please refer to https://demerch.com/returnpolicy and abide by our return policy.

 

Quality of Service

 Fairness and Honesty- you must act with fairness and honesty in your dealings with demerch.com and your customers. We take customer feedback seriously as it has the potential to damage both your and our reputations.

Quality Customer service- provide efficient, quick and friendly service, building strong relationships with customers, handling complaints quickly and responding to customers' issues on time to save your reputation.

We reserve the right to block any seller’s access to using our platform based on consistent negative customer feedback.

 

Delivery and Cancellation

Should any of your items be ordered, you are to deliver it within 4 calendar days. If for any reason you cannot deliver an item ordered, you are to notify us and the customer as well as refund all payment made by the customer.

 

Respecting our review system

Customer have the rights to review items they have purchased as well as review the quality of your service. You are not allowed to influence our review process by any means.

Should you receive a negative review from a customer that you consider unjustified, you may contact us and/or the customer.


Seller Commission

We will charge you 5% as our commission on every item we sell.
