1. Eligibility for Returns

You may request a return if:

ü The item you received is defective, damaged, or broken.

ü The item delivered is different from what you ordered (wrong size, color, or product).

ü The item is incomplete (missing accessories or parts).

Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging, unless damaged during delivery.

2. Items Not Eligible for Return

Perishable goods (e.g., fresh food, groceries).

Personal care and hygiene products (e.g., skincare opened, cosmetics used).

Customized or personalized items.

Digital goods, airtime, and subscriptions once delivered.

3. Return Window

Returns must be initiated within 7 days of delivery.

Items must be shipped back within 3 days of approval of the return request.

4. Refunds & Processing

Once the item is received and inspected, refunds will be processed to your original payment method (mobile money, card, or bank account).

Refunds may take 3–10 business days depending on payment provider timelines.

For partial returns, refunds will cover only the returned item’s value.

5. Return Shipping

If the item was delivered damaged, defective, or incorrect, the seller covers the return cost.

If returning for other reasons (e.g., change of mind, wrong size chosen by buyer), the buyer covers the return shipping fee.

6. Exchange Option

Where possible, buyers may request a replacement item instead of a refund. This depends on seller stock availability.

7. Dispute Resolution

If you and the seller cannot agree on a return, Demerch.com will step in through our Dispute Resolution Center to ensure fairness.
